Students create their own player characters, then team up in Adventuring Groups to tackle science-themed challenges together.
Each student chooses a character class with unique abilities and roles in the game world of Zorethea:
The tank. Warriors use strength, speed, and courage to protect their teammates and take on direct challenges.
Inspired by: Conan the Barbarian, Aragorn, Zorro, samurai, gladiators, gunslingers.
Masters of arcane knowledge. Mages are born with innate magical power in Zorethea—a force in social conflict with Science.
Inspired by: Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, classic RPG wizards.
The lifeline of the group. Healers treat injuries, mend teammates, and keep the group in the fight.
Inspired by: Medicine men/women, mystical healers, doctors, or modern medics.
The new force in Zorethea. Scientists aren’t born with magic—they learn. That threatens the Sorcerers’ monopoly.
Think: real-world innovators reimagined as RPG characters discovering the Periodic Table and genetics.
Each subject line will feature its own unique fourth class, adding depth to the system while preserving familiar fantasy roles.
